the same time that Arthur C. was taking the train to Tahoe to build his
own skiis and wrote the article about the beauties of Tahoe in the
winter he took this picture of John Muir holding up a branch of
Mountain's Heart Ease, an illustration for an article appeared in the
same year in Camera Craft. His name is in tiny print next to the lower edge of the photo.
Later, AC would become the photographer who went with the Sierra Club on its yearly ventures back into the wildernesses of Yosemite. When the Kids arrives they would accompany him, having a great time.
