In 1989 my father, Dr. Arthur Francis Pillsbury, asked me to ensure his father's legacy was preserved and extended.
At the time I had no idea of the extent of his work or the difficulties which were before me. But through it all it has been an honor and a privilege to get to know my grandfather. Over my years of research I came to realize he exemplified all I value in an individual. Kind, warm, funny, hardworking, always acting with integrity and the well being of others in mind, his innovations shaped our world today in ways few realize.
Father died in 1991 and will always be missed. He and Mother had five natural children and one adopted daughter, my daughter Morgan. Grandfather had three children, my father, Grace Sylvia Pillsbury, and Ernest Sargent Pillsbury, Jr. Dad was the youngest.
